Limited Edition Mod Thread

Check out my build thread in my sig.

I did a Toytec Boss Ultimate lift in the front, and normal Toytec ultimate lift in the back. Ended up being a 2.5" in the front and about 1-1.5" in the back. Turned out nice, and with 285/65-r18 tires.. Had to do a front liner push forward, and cut the limited front fender plastic a bit. Worth the $1800 or so for the Boss 2.5 lift though, at least in my mind...
Your truck is sweet! I have the same wheels on my 2014 Ram.
Here's our 2014 LE
XREAS removed, replaced with Sonoran Steel 3 inch lift, 275/60/20 Yokohama Geolander A/T G015, Spidertrax 1.25 waiting to be installed

I considered a spacer lift, decided to bite the bullet and just switch it all out now.

Thanks for the replay guys and I want to rid the XREAS but that's not in the plan for now.

It's actually the opposite. No rubbing when I had 275/55/20 KO2's installed. After installing the spacers, rubbing was noticeable only at full lock in reverse. The simple fix was to push back the liners with a heat gun where the rubbing occurred. Or you could get a lift.

Running a similar set up.. 275/55/20 duratracs, 1.25 spidertrax and a toytec top1-t leveling kit. Having some trouble with rubbing on full lock to the left & right in reverse.. did you have to drill in new holes for the fender liner or did the heat gun fix the issue?

Xenon Depot 5k HID Kit
Phillips LED Fog Lights
3"/1.5" ToyTec Lift - Keeping XREAS for the mean time

In the works are sliders and tires.

Anyone have pictures of a 3/4 roof rack on an LE?

Thanks, Looks good! I'm thinking about a Rocky Mounts 14er Basket but haven't convinced myself, yet.

What did you do to your rocker panel, I'm digging those tube steps!

Thanks!

For the rocker panel I did the conversion over to the 2014+ SR5/Trail lower profile rocker panel. It was an easy swap. If you need a list of all the parts I can send it over. Like all other Toyota plastic trim it seems to costs as much as gold :ohwell:

What tires and spacers are you using? Looks great.

On an unrelated note, I can't believe how bad different tires and wheels has eaten into my MPG. My 4R was still going through break in at about 4K miles, but averaging about 16 MPG. Went from the OEM 20s and Yokohama Geolanders to 17x7.5" Sequoia wheels on 265/70 BFG KO2s and I'm now solidly around 14.3 MPG. Ouch!

Had to do a little bit of conversion there.. I do about 15.2L/100km so about 15.5MPG? Thanks! Seeing your LE with Sequoia rims had me going on a quick search if there are any available in my area!
Im running 275/55/20 Goodyear Duratracs with Spidertrax spacers and a Toytec leveling kit.

just had the first oil change on mine and immediately took a 700 mile road trip. gas mileage def seemed to improve; avg'ed almost 19mpg for the whole trip. half of the trip was at speed not conducive to good mpg too

I can do about 20mpg on the highway around 70-75mph, but I drive mostly city M-F and have a heavier foot. Even when I ease off and watch the eco bar, I still get up to maybe 14.5?

Damn full time 4x4.

Why not just cut your rockers like this? Very easy and free if you own a dremel. Happy to share my experience if it's helpful.

Please do!

I've been debating on cutting them or buying the OEM. Just not sure how difficult it would be to cut them or how easily I could screw it up.
