Limited vs Loading-up an SR5

Thanks man...appreciate the commentary.

I drove all three models yesterday afternoon. Huge difference from SR5 to LE ride-wise. Not as much noticeable between TE and LE on the mean streets of I-25 (what has happened to our state? ugh).

Anyway - The biggest things I need to get over (fix) are those horrible looking wheels, crap narrow tires, running boards, and chrome door handles and trim. I need to figure-out what it's going to cost me to remedy all of that to get it looking as I'd like...hate to be superficial like that...but it's the truth...it matters to me.

I'll search the forum as I assume there are threads about ditching those LE wheels, where to sell them, and replacing the chrome with color-matched stuff.

Someone here has taken their 5th gen Limited and made it look like a TE. I think it was Harper7. He's got a thread about it somewhere.

You can sell your wheels in the forums here.

KDSS allows you to have stiff anti-sway bars, but it automatically unlocks the sway bars when needed offroad. So yes, it does give you more articulation, and gives you better handling on the road than an SR5 or non-KDSS TE. It isn't clear to me how the KDSS compares with XREAS on the road. KDSS should have more articulation offroad than XREAS or SR5/TE non-KDSS.
Are you sure?

Sure about what?

I'm sure that the KDSS is superior offroad to XREAS. I'm sure that KDSS is superior offroad to an SR5.

The only thing I'm NOT sure about is how KDSS compares to XREAS ON ROAD

Explain how KDSS is superior offroad.
Because it's not.
It's superior onroad.
And we've already been thru this a bunch of times.

Does the limited have the same size swaybars as the SR5 or the TE?

All the sway bars are the same except for the TE with KDSS. It has a bigger/thicker bar that attaches to the LCA in the front.
The LE/SR5/Non KDSS TE's attach to a link with swivels on each end that then attaches to wheel spindle.

I never really gave much thought to the keyless entry but after having it for 3 months now I love it, and once I get my first oil change I am going to ask the dealership to program the key fob to open all the windows when I press the "Unlock" button.

Have you gotten the dealership to do this yet? I will be going in for my 5K service in about a month and also want to get this done...just wondering if they tried to charge for it. I bought mine at Toyota of Dallas so will be going there for the 5K.

I just had mine done at 5K miles, I asked the dealership if there was a charge and he said no, ask first and if he says yes tell him to GFH!
