Links to T-case removal?

I'm in the middle of pulling off a t-case but I can't get it to separate from the transmission. I must be missing something.

Just looking for links or anything. My online FSM link isn't working so I assume it's been taken down again.

That's the same ones I have but they wont work on either my tablet or desktop.

Just make sure you have all the bolts out and it should come off. It is sealed with RTV so you are going to have to break that loose.

You must be behind a firewall because both those links are working fine as of this minute.

I only saw 3 bolts. Doesn't seem like nearly enough. Does it not have anything besides an indexing stud on top?

I gave it a few whacks with a hammer and 2x4 and then looked for a place to use a brass drift. I need to go back out and take a look again.

(a) Support the transmission with another transmission jack.
(b) Remove the 8 transfer mounting bolts.
(c) Pull out the transfer down and toward the rear.




definitely more than 3.

EatonKyle emailed me the FSM instructions. I was unbolting part of the transmission or an adapter piece for the t-case. The tranny is shot so no harm no foul. Those bolts will remain out as I need to pull the engine and tranny out soon anyway.
