List your MPG here please

18K miles, 1 year old, constantly has been 18.3 to 18.5 / gallon which is VERY disappointing to us. I see from this thread that this is pretty typical. It's about a 50/50 mix of city/highway, tires fully inflated, mostly warmer temps (Texas), 87 fuel. We had expected a good bump in MPG from our 2001 Chevy Tahoe which had a very powerful V8 in it and got ~ 17MPG. Given he underpowered 6 cylinder in this thing I personally find the gas mileage pathetic. We still like the 4 runner overall, but had we known the gas mileage would have been only 18 we might have considered some other options. Our other big gripe is the lack of visibility out the back window - we find it to be very dangerous when backing up - you really almost need an aftermarket reverse camera.

I have just over 800 miles on a stock SR5, 70% interstate/state Highway 30% city and last two tanks have been 20.4 per the 4runner my math is 20.6. I am stoked coming from an 07 Tundra with the 5.7 that I felt lucky when I got 15. I try to keep the ECO light on as much as possible, completely changed my driving style.
