I managed to find a little mud in this lame city! lol

Heres a few pics... don't mind my queer friends. I'm wearing the orange shorts and my friend Ryan is in the white shirt and Luke is in the blue shirt. There crazy, :bigok:

Lol thanks guys. I'm not a big fan of mud either but thats about all that is around my area. It's such a pita to clean off!

yeppers, I was born and raised in KC, wheeled a little, trees and mud, was about it, lol

Looks like fun. Sorry to break it to you but you are gonna be cleaning mud off your rig for months now. I still have mud up in the undercarriage from months and months ago, and it just will not come out...:bash:
 

I LOVE mud!!! I dont know why cause it really is such a pita to clean but for some reason I can never get enough of it!

David ray and Clemson, I drilled through the plastic top portion of the bumper and through the metal below (probably about 1/8" thick) then stuck the bolt through, reached up from the bottom and hand tightened the nut, then I aligned then tightened them down snug. Wiring was easy peasy, the hardest part was getting the wires through the firewall grommet. See the writeup below, thats what I went by and it turned out great.

I mounted the lights basically between the center Toyota symbol and the headlights. I did no measuring I just used a level and some chalk to mark out the lines to make sure they were totally even. They help significantly when on a long straight away. They are very stable where they are and don't bounce or vibrate at all when on a smooth road. If your going a good 40 MPH and hit a bump they will shake a bunch though.

Brian, painting the tow hitch wasn't too difficult. I removed the six bolts holding it to the frame and it came right off. Be careful not to let it smack you in the face. I then sanded/wire brushed all the old rust off...I sanded all the old paint as well with 200 grit. Then I put about 5 coats of rust preventative primer on top of the old paint, then I used Duplicolor semi gloss black and put about three coats of that on. It looks pretty good so far! Putting it back on was a royal pita because no one was there to help me but I got it back on! :bigok:

KellyJ, yeah I know... I already tried washing the mud off and it just keep streaming and streaming off. Oh well, makes my rig look cool, :bigok: It rained today at school and my parking spot is absolutely saturated in mud, lol

Well I decided to go back out there yesterday while it was raining (duuuuumb) and I got stuck in a rut. I called my mom who has a Jeep Grand Cherokee to come pull me out, I stuck it. Then I called my friends dad who has a Ford F-250 and we came sooo close to getting it stuck he decided to leave w/ my mom (thank god, she was throwing a fit because I got her car stuck)...he got stuck on the way out and got pulled out by another friend's Exploder, lol. I ended up calling a friend who had a come a long, I was able to winch it out a little bit then get a running start and haul balls through the rut, then pull my moms jeep out.... Oh what a night, :bigok:

Did you have to get a tow truck? And they all ditched me, haha then they came back with the come-along. lol
 
Yep. Tow truck came...spent 5 minutes there and charged me $65. Ripoff!

I think you need some new tires. :D

Were the mud just dragging the undercarriage or something?
