That jeep in the background might have been an old scrambler. Jeep did attempt a CJ7/pickup hybrid for a short time. Also came with a removable hardtop option.

More progress. Got the old body all off.Did the timing belt and water pump since it was easy to get to. Starting to cut and relocate some things. I will be selling the elocker soon as well. I am looking for a tundra axle. Deavers are on order as well

Look up total metal innovations. They are an Oregon based company but ship everywhere. Pretty cheap too (for what they are)

I believe 66" It will match my front width almost perfect. The only bummer is that i will lose my elocker. Anyone need one lol.

I don't "need" one but I would sure like one. Would you sell the axle drum to drum with locker, or just the locker?

Just an FYI, axles can be narrowed. Cut the axle tubes. Cut the axles and re-spline, and there you go.

Now that I'm fully awake..

I wouldn't suggest trying that without the proper tools, jigs, and expertise. There are businesses that can do it for you. It's a fairly common procedure used in the racing community.
