Look what I found on the passenger seat this morning.

I forgot an unopen Coke can in my car (not the 4runner) on the passenger seat yesterday. This morning, I found it popped and Coke everywhere on the seat. The car was parked from 2:00 PM PST to the next morning.

Reminds of this a thread a few years ago, where a can spray paint popped and repainted the interior of a MB C-class.

I keep my carbonated drinks in my bag, so it comes out of the car when I park. I only leave bottled water in the car. I should discard those bottles since they've been cooking the summer heat.

I have had a coke sitting in the back cup holder in the rear passenger door for a while now (for my g/f cus she loves coke), and I just went out and took that out! I DO NOT want that to happen....hahaha

My wife had a can of coke explode in her old Volvo and it in my opinion literally ruined the vehicle. I was so glad to get rid of it, no matter how many details that coke was still screwing up buttons and controls etc and so on forever.

Hopefully you experience is much easier.

i had a whole 6 pack explode in my 4runner last year. and yes it was coke. i dont even drink coke, thats what upset me most. it was someone elses.

but then 2 days later i was slightly rearended. and when the dealer had my 4runner for 2 days fixing it, they also through in a full detailed cleaning service as if it was going on the lot. i lucked out.

Last year I had a soda can blow up, and a couple cheap cigarette lighters blow, when it hit 107 degrees.
