After about 2 months of searching I finally found her.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input. While it was not the one previously talked about. It fell within my criteria.

Hopefully people here will be able to help me when I have any question or heaven forbid have a problem.

I will have to get some daylight shots once it gets a good washing.

Any tips on how to bring out the blackness?

Also the body panel on the drivers door is loose. Any tips on ways to resecure it? Is it clips/tape/screws? Thanks in advance.

YEAHHH. I love my black 4R, they're a PAIN to keep clean but look the best (IMO) when they're clean/washed/waxed and in the beautiful sun!

Just be sure not to get hard water on them/let it dry and keep it clean!!! ha.

there clipped on. Theres two different clips on them, red ones and blue ones. Its kinda a pain to replace just one clip without taking the entire molding off but you might be able to squeeze a new one in there with out removing the molding, it is possible. you just gotta figure out which color clip u need. dont ty to use double back tape, thatll make ur new sweet sport look crappy. the dealer can get u the clips, there not exspensive

if you dont want to mess with getting a new clip and all ill trade you 4runners. all my moldings are tight as factory issued. let me know, lol :lmao:

If the black is appearing dull it may be due to light spider web or swirl marks. Pretty easy to do once you educate yourself and spend a little money on gear. You can either correct it yourself or bring it to a reputable detailer.

I just repaired my center console due to a loose clip. Drives me nuts having loose parts.

Use really good car wash like P21S; not the stuff you get at Walmart. Use a good wax/sealant like Klasse or P21S...tons of info at autogeek and you will learn a lot on how to remove swirls from black vehicles and keep it that way.
