Lookin into the OME lifts...got some Q's

Looking at the OME 881's and 906's for the rear. What trim packs are generally needed to level up the front (left to right) and level it with the rear? Is the 5mm pack enough or do you need the 10mm pack? also is one "pack" needed for each coil or are they a set. (enough for two?)

im also not sure if i will regret not going higher later down the road. If I goe the 890's in the rear, how are people getting the 881's in the front level with the back? Would need a diff drop....

Yes on diff drop. Go big or go home:jk: I love my 881/890 set up the ride is great to me and set with about .5" of rake perfect IMO.

I love my 890s in the rear. I added one 10mm trim spacer to each rear coil and I have a 1/4 - 1/2 high rake back to front .

You need spacers to level out the 881s to 890s. Check out toyteclifts.com and they have spacers with the right thickness. Driffter would know how big they are.

Then you would only get around 2 1/4"s of lift in the front.

Depending on what you want to do, there are two different spacers for the front, one gives about .5"s of lift and the other .75"s of lift.

I run 881's with the .75" TO spacer and 890's in the rear. Since pretty much level, maybe slightly raked but minimal. I personally think the 890's ride a little rough in the rear and wouldnt mind finding a set of the shortest LC coils. The 890's arent bad enough to make me go on an extensive search for LC coils, but if I happen to find a pair that are local and cheap I may pick them up.

Oh, and you may want to the the 5mm trim packer for the drivers side front. Mine sits a little lower on that side. Not really noticable except when the tape measure comes out.

The consensus here will be if you are going with the OME coils, get the OME shocks. You shouldn't need new brake lines for the OME, you may need to bend the brake bracket in the back to keep it from pulling. Mine rusted off, so I don't have to worry about that.

I am running the 881/890 combo and have toytec's 1/2" top spacer in the front and sits pretty level. I have dogs, hockey gear, and camp so there is usually something in the back of my runner, when it's empty it's a little rough but I have ridden in and owned much worse.

add the 1/2" top spacer to what you have listed already and push the order button!! oh and go with the OME sport shocks! I love em!!

if you have the cash upgrade the brake lines, I didn't and ended up pulling the fronts to far durring install and now have no ABS.

Your other option would be to go tundra coils in the front with a 3/8" spacer and you should sit roughly level with 890s. Would be cheaper too...
