Looking for 1984 ac compressor service port

Hello everyone, I hope someone in this forum can help me. I am looking for the high side service port adapter for a 84 4runner ac compressor. I have come to the conclusion that might be causing my ac system to leak. I can not find where my system is leaking,it is slow,but fast enough for freon to escape in a few days. I have put dye,replaced evaporator,condensor,expansion valve and bought a rebuilt compressor,but system will not hold vacuum for long. Reason I suspect this might be at fault is that one time when I removed the hose, I noticed an aluminum sliver come off this area and possible causing the hose not to seat right. Also I am running out of options. This service port is the type that a bolt holds the hose in place to the compressor. If any one has this available,can you please give me a shout and maybe we can make a deal. I have not been able to find this locally. Thanks

You maybe able to rig up a rubber gromet or washer to sit in there and create some sort of a seal

So there's no o-ring? And it is leaking? Maybe u should replace the o-ring so it stops leaking? :toilet3:

Or are you looking to change out that unit

I have replaced the o-ring several times. I believe it is this part that is causing the problem due to the reason mentioned in my original post.

the dye should be able to tell you exactly where its leaking, thats its purpose. you have the light, and glasses?


that said, i may have one, but i need to see exactly what yours looks like. can you get a better pic, or even remove it for a pic?

they made them several different ways, with different mounting, and different outlet directions.

I have tried the dye,have the light and glasses,still can't find the leak. Will take more pics as soon as I get a chance. My son is driving it right now. Here are the pics. You can see the service port adapter in the left picture.See the 2 bolts,just to the right that attach it to the compressor(you are actually looking at the rear of the compressor in the left pic). The right pic is the hose with the part that goes in the service port adapter(see the o-ring).
