I haven't made 15 posts so I can't post in classifieds but I'm looking for the front driver floor mat for a 97 Limited 4Runner

I say weathertech. You'll never need to replace them. They're thin and very light. And if you spill something it catches it well. My first mod is always weathertech lol even in my Corolla. I had the stock mats for maybe a week? Best $180 ever (front two, rear and cargo)

On the subject of floormats, I was reviewing maintenance records from mine that the PO provided and noticed that the dealership evidently checks condition on the floor mats? Seems an odd detail to look at on a broad mostly mechanical inspection, anyone know why they note them?

been shopping for a rear cargo mat for starters. il ldo the rest later but need the reaer for fishign gear and in case my bait bucket splashes over, rather WHEN when it splashes over... dnt need that smell in my new baby....

anyhow this is the first thread i saw on cargo mats so i decided to post here....

i have been shopping for weathertech and only found one place with aa rear mat for 100 bucks with shipping... i really do not wanna pay 130 for this.... i have shopped husky as well but from pics iver seen it looks like the WT holds closer to the edge by the hatch and husky was kinda just flaoting at that spot leaving it vulnerable.....

am i mislead? and does anyone know a place to get a very good price on WT or if i go husky address the issue im seeing from experience... thanks guys....

We check them because of the recalls that happened several years ago, it is something Toyota asks the dealers to do. Part of the issue was customer stacking multiple floor mats making it easier for the accelerator pedal to get caught.

I have seen people with the stock mat, a piece of carpet and a thick rubber mat all stacked on the drivers side. We try to make sure that customers are educated to the dangers of doing this.

We've used weather tech in several of our cars, we had a 2011 limited 4runner and the floor mats kept it like new. Great products. Not sure about Husky but the Weather tech is made in USA.

I would also recommend weather tech. I have them for my Golf R and love them! I plan on getting some for my 4Runner.
