whats up guys! new member here, currently looking for a 4Runner but am needing more info to make an educated purchase. i have found that it is semi difficult to find comparison threads when it comes to trim models. so, a little info on myself and what it is i am looking for/looking to do...
never owned a truck/suv/4x4/AWD anything! I have been into the JDM/KDM scene ever since i started driving. however, i am getting older and tired of not being able to make it up drive ways (too low) and starting to go stir crazy at my office job. i need to adventure more often. i am not looking to build a rock crawler or desert race truck, but i do want something that can take a beating and can take me to a lot of places reliably. as well as being a comfortable and convenient daily driver. i commute from OC-LA 5 days a week (80mi. daily). i am already planning on suspension upgrades/wheels/tires just for a more comfortable and reliable ride, appearance obviously too.
whats the best trim model to build off of? i like the TRD Pro but it will probably be too expensive once on lots...is it even all that much better? it will be a while after purchasing that i would be able to afford any upgrades so i need it to be ready for a beating off the lot (nothing too crazy). i would prefer leather (not a must), navi (a must) but besides that i dont even know what other bells and whistles are offered.
im sure it is apparent that i am uneducated when it comes to these vehicles. i have so many questions but i feel like this thread is already too long. any information, advice and or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
