hey everyone ive browsed this site for a while but am pretty new still, I have been having a hard time finding used lift springs/shocks now that i have the money ready, i don't really want to spend on a brand new kit.. i want 2.5-3 inches and im feeling the vib from trd coils or eibach coils and bilstein 5100's, i want it more for comfort but a bit of offroad for camping and such, are there any other sites i can check out? it seems like every time i go to TTORA it always freezes on me, when i google for other sites it seems like theres not a lot of action that goes on in those forums, thanks!

Rough Country N2.0 Rear Shock Set for 4Runner

Look for a used set of OME 890's and you are good to go!

im shooting for the bilsteins/ any chance of splitting up the coils?

Nah that's too much work on my end since my replacements won't require a spring compressor. The N2.0 shocks are really nice though and ride great. Is there any particular reason you are stuck on 5100's?

most people say the 5100 are a great ride...adjustable if needed for my liking... right over 300 bucks with eibach coils...I'm a bit iffy on the rough country shocks. I haven't seen many great posts on them, im still trying to figure some stuff out since i'll have to find the rears too!

I know that they use the height adjustability as selling point, but I just don't see it being a big deal. If you are matching them with springs that provide 2.5"-3" of lift and you never will disassemble them and change them for as long as you have the truck then I don't think they are worth the extra cost. Just my opinion I could be wrong.

As for the RC shocks I personally think they are awesome! I was really impressed with the build quality and more importantly the ride quality of the front and rear shocks. If there are negative threads on them I haven't seen them and I know there are issues with every setup, but that's usually all you see is the issues.
