Loose plastic rocker panels?

Hello,
Has anyone noticed the plastic panel on their 5th gen 4R that runs along the side of the truck under the doors seems to be kind of loose? I noticed this on both sides of the truck with it being the most loose where it attaches near the rear wheel. I’m wondering if this is just an issue with my truck or if it is a poor design.

My passenger side one was loose. It was causing a rattling sound from that side that was driving me crazy.

I had a loose panel. I looked under the truck and some bolts were missing from the brackets holding the panels. I had the running boards removed before purchase and I guess the guys at the dealer didn't know what they were doing. Anyway, after if fixed it, they're on there pretty solid. So what you're describing isn't normal.

Bingo KCcarguy, you nailed it. I also had the running boards removed when I bought the truck and sure enough I’m missing six bolts on each side. I called the service department at my dealer and they said to bring it in and if the bolts were not in stock and I would have to return again if they had to order them. Do you remember what size the bolts are? I don’t want to make two trips to the dealership just for a few bolts plus I really don’t have much confidence in the service department at this point.
