I will be driving my 4runner to mexico soon ish. Oaxaca and mexico city on on the list as well as jalisco and the west coast in general.

Its funny how many ignorant americans are so scared of mexico.

I was supposed to have already left but my mother has taken ill and it took me forever to find the right truck :/

Well, when even the U.S. State Department issues warnings for travel to Mexico, I can't blame some folks being concerned about their safety.
