Loss of power??

With a 3 inch suspension and 285 BFG All terrains, is there much loss of power? i plan on doing a flowmaster or vortex muffler too. i searched on this, but couldnt find anything. any help is appreciated! Thanks!!

which lift would u reccomend?

also with the toytec lifts. whats the difference between the 890 and the 906 coils?

looking at either this lift:

and a new set of shocks

or the cornfed 3in. front spacer w/ diff drop kit and 2.5 inch rear spacer
with a new set of shocks and springs.

Which tires do you have on their now?

Most likely your going to notice at least some power loss. If your running 15's now or small 16's it's going to be pretty noticeable.

Adding a muffler will only make the 4runner sound better. You will see no gains in power or MPG.

The diff drop lessens the severity of the CV angle after you install a lift

I have a 3 inch lift and 285/75 tires. I knowticed no difference in power anywhere except the same road I broke my transmission today, its steep. Over 10% grade and I knowtice a little power loss when trying to go fast up it.

I have heard toytec is good, actually I have their diff drop. But I like sway away coilovers. I live in a desert so they excel in fast rough roads. And ome in the back. And awsome set up if you ask me.

Throw a K & N filter and modify your box or install a CAI. That will give up a little more horsepower.
