Well,i posted a time or two about {stop light drag races}
HaHa,let me tell about today,i got cooked,well done.
This cute young girl sat at the stoplight reving and moving
and i thought i would just show her up,but NO she
took her Acura Legend and Blew my a$$ away in nothing
flat. very Humbling Lesson. I guess i'll be cool for a while now.

I don't Know but she had a west coast chopper sticker
on the back glass.
Had my son with me and laughed it off but I'll have to
say she was very quick,beat me off the line also.:confused:

she still had to have something in there.. it's decent stock, but should have had something to be quick.. but then again, i'm not an expert on legends, kindof always wanted one. but if its a typical honda, it does best off a roll..

I had a similar experience with this dude with a Mustang GT, he saw my TRD S/C sticker and started reveing his engine. Could not resist so I took him, could not of done it without the s/c. Needless to say his face was in shock, to see a runner move so fast.
 
The Legend is a sweet ride, friend had 1 and that thing stock flew, remember going through traffic at 110 and going under big rigs:D those days are over sort of
 
This IS a joke, right? Racing cars with a truck? Oh my. I could blow you away with my 18 yr old VW! Almost anything with a manual tranny could leave you in the dust.

Don't judge vehicles by the size of their engine. I remember back in the late 70's....a VW Rabbit could beat a Vette 0-50 mph. After 50 mph, of course it was the Vette!

I've driven the new V8 4Runner. It is quick, for a truck. It "feels" even faster due to the torque it puts out.

A manual transmission doesn't do anything special in a drag race unless you have all wheel drive. I raced a plain jane F150 in my Impreza RS and LOST. Trucks can beat cars. My 4Runner can beat LOTS of cars. As for your Rabbit / Corvette claim, do you have any published stats? I've ridden in Rabbits before and they were, well... Duds.

dude in an integra ls manual with a loud ass exhaust tried to pull one on me at a red light. well, it was either he was gunna rear end a parked car, or side swipe me, cuz i was not letting him pass. he tried hard as hell too but his car was just tooo weak, and my car had 5 passengers and a trunk full of luggage (just picked them up from the airport). all of my passengers were laughing and were amazed by the strength of the 4runner. to me it's not racing, its just showing people who has the right of way. ;):
