Loud groaning when turned to full right**

My 06 SE has been doing this thing ever since I bought it. When turning the wheel to its full stops right* only, not left, and then inching forward at slow speeds, something down in the chassis area groans loudly. The 4R is all stock and all proper sizes.

Edit: I can't believe I had that wrong but I edited to remove that this happens when turned left or right. *It's only when turned right.

Correct. Turning the wheel far right** in-place does not produce any noise. Only when it begins to inch forward.

Yes the V8s are only 4WD

Without knowing all the details and not being there I am going to guess you have a bad wheel bearing.

Jack the front wheels up one at a time and rock the tire up and down with your hands on top and bottom of your tire. You should not have any play. If there is play you have a bearing going out.

My whole 4R chassis is surface rusty. Like every part that exists, evenly coated in rust down there.

I had the passenger side WB fail at 100,000 miles. Made a groaning sound.
Had a professional shop with great mechanic knock out the bearing.

I have a spare WB assembly from Amazon for when the driver's side WB fails. I'm now at 150,000 miles.

WB's fail. Nothing else you can do but fix it.

Yes the V8s are only 4WD

4runner V8's came in either RWD only or full-time 4WD.

GX470's and 460's are only full-time 4WD, no RWD option.
