I'm going to black out the chrome rear bumper until I can afford a real one. Patiently awaiting my shrockworks front bumper.
 
Nice call with the BAMF sliders, they look great! Also the Savage skids are a good deal, but remember we have to pay sales tax here in CA for them, while I believe the Budbuilts are without sales tax. Both are quality products though.
 
Paint or Wrap?

I'm buying a new hood that comes with primer because I've always wanted a hood scoop and the paint on my hood right now is shot. My question is should I have it painted or wrapped? Benefits? Drawbacks anyone?

Also, do you think it will look better green, black, or?

Keep in mind im switiching to black satoshi grill and black shrockworks bumper.


My girlfriends dad had his hood and roof wrapped, here's what it looks like, sorry its dirty in the pics and the lighting sucks.





Not sure what color that was that he went with^^^

Go with paint or leave the primer. Vinyl is nice, but costs a good amount and will tear at some point. I'm leaving mine primered for a while since I can't afford the paint right now and I like the look.

Shrockworks

Shrockworks bumper, Warn M-8000S (Synthetic Rope), Piaa 510 fogs.

It was a long 4 month wait for the bumper but worth every penny of it in my eyes. The bumper is very uniform to the body. I Couldn't be happier with Shrockworks design and build. Very high quality product. Who's up for another Hollister trip while I'm still on Winter break?

I decided to retrofit a new pair of headlights. Last week I painted the new oe headlight housings low gloss engine enamel black (Same as my hood for now). I painted the projector shrouds black as well. I put in the D2S 3.0 projectors from theretrofitsource.com and glued their amber halo rings on the shrouds. I am very happy with the light output. I'll get some night pics soon. I also put in a Satoshi style grill which was made very nicely by [MENTION=75483]Millerad1651[/MENTION]

(Baked the headlights to remove the glass)
















 
Shrockwork's Full Skids

I got in on the first 10 purchase from Shrockwork's for their 3rd gen full skids. I am really happy how they turned out. Everything mounted up perfectly with no drilling required.

Radiator, Engine, Tranny, T-case, Gas Tank (Not in order in the picture)







 
Holy crap this got good looking quickly. I'd ditch those tail light guards and powdercoat the bumper black next. Truck is 10x better than page 1 already tho!

That's funny you mention that, the tail light guards are currently off and the bumper is black to match! Forgot to post pictures of the rear. Thanks for the advice though, I always appreciate the input. Thanks again!

That is really funny! How do you like the LR UCA's? Big difference?
 
S/C + 7th injector kit

TRD Supercharger and URD 7th injector kit were installed over the weekend. You can really feel the difference.
