First, off I've been lurking for quite awhile for this to be my first post. Long story short. I can't stop the virtual mods. I think I've "decided" on several lifts, wheels, audio and mods on a daily basis.
So far, I've discovered I suddenly couldn't stand the "clunk" and lubed my propeller shaft, have gotten extremely annoyed with the dive and dragster look, and finally have limited and V8 envy.
I have a 2008 SR5 V6 4WD with port installed leather. I added a Rostra seat heater kit and other than that it sits stock. So just image a stock Titanium Silver SR5 and you have a picture.
As I look at my spreadsheet of proposed mods, real or virtual it's become obvious I'll be better of trading it in on a V8 Limited.
I've got my eye on an '06 LTD V8 in Nautical Blue (the color I originally wanted) with 62K on it for about what I should be able to sell my '08 SR5 with 42K miles.
Oh my needs are daily driver, 10 mile commute, camping and a small towable in the future.
Planned mods would be mild lift/level, AT tires.
Maybe someday build it as an expedition rig.
What do you guys think, trade, sell/buy, or just be satisfied?
