Low Idling and Chugging.

I have a 04' SR% V6 with 210k miles on it
Recently it has started "chugging" when it starts, If I rev the engine it goes away and resumes its normal idle. When this Chugging happens the RPM's do not get above 1000 like they normally do when you start then drop back down.
I just changed the spark plugs thinking that might be an issue but it wasn't. I asked my Husband but he is an American Car guy and doesn't know a whole lot about newer cars or Toyota for that matter.

Any Ideas?

Thank you for the tips I will try both, The gaps on the plugs are accurate, so I will try this thank you!!

check all the vacuum hoses for leaks.

It actually ended up being a misfire of cyl 4 just replaced the fuel injector now it runs great except not it is idling really low at stop lights.
