Low RPM 3rd Limited 3.4L

Hi,

I have my little babe a 3.4L limited stock editions...(for the moment)
She has around 130 000 miles.
I just notice that she start to have a really LOW RPM, around 500 or 600 in Drive and little more on Neutral. I changed it's sparks plus 1 months ago it was a Beats.

Little notice, I have a leak on the Valve gaskets, transmission gaskets and front differential seal leak as well. Is this can the problem of the performance lost?

Have anybody has this ?

I wouldn't call that really low, mine idles at like 600-650ish.

So what is the standard RPM for this kind of engine in Drive gear?

Should idle around 750. Beyond that depends on the weight of your foot.

Do you have any check engine lights? TPS and several other things could cause abnormal idle rpm.

Nope, there's no Check Engine Lights, I just came back from a 380 Miles trip without any problem as well.

The gas milage is quiet same as well, it's about 9L/100Km on highway.

I just feel this different of RPM with last month when I was just replaced the spark plugs. I can feel it well when I leave the car on D and I let her go.

The leaks aren't the cause of the performance, more likely intake is in need of care. Try running some of your favorite fuel treatment preferably one with carbon removal aspects. I run startron, 2 ozs/tank to start then 1/tank. What's ur idle w/a-c on?
