low-tech steps for a 5th gen - do they exist?

I was car lot surfing this morning and saw these nifty steps on an old Land Rover 110. I’ve scoured the forum and haven’t seen anything similar. I don’t want running boards. I don’t want nerf steps. I don’t want bump out sliders or sliders with steps. This seems like a very elegant, low-tech solution to helping folks get in and out of the 4Runner occassionally. The AMP Research steps are interesting, but I don’t think they’d work reliably about 5 months out of the year in Minnesota.

If that thing is for sale at a dealer lot and you don't mind all the associated Land Rover gremlins and headaches, buy it! 110s are super cool and extremely hard to find in the US. As for the steps, I don't know of anything like like that for our 4Runners. You might have to custom make something.

They're also *super* expensive. A shorter wheelbase one is on the lot for $50K. Don't know if this one is for sale, but it would be more than $50K. But, they are awesome vehicles, even with their gremlins...

True. Super expensive and horrible reliability! Sounds like fun!
