Lower Arm bolt ?

I had my Billie 5100's put on today, and I'm very satisfied with the look ! (set @ 1.75") But when the shop did the front end alignment, the tech showed me that I have a "gaulded" or seized up caster adjusting bolt. It is the front, right, lower A arm forward most bolt. Can someone please give me the Toyota OEM part # for this bolt ?

This is for a 2010 4R SR5, 4x4.

Can't help with the part number but the term is galled. And no, I'm not trying to be a smart alec.

Any Toyota parts manager should be able to pull it up from your description.

Thanks, got what I needed from the service guy. Not real happy about the price for 1 bolt, 1 cam, 1 toe plate, and 1 bushing. $98.00, but I don't think this is available in aftermarket.

Proper use of tools would not cause this issue. The only times I've ever seen or needed a replacement alignment cam is if the cam itself is seized on an older truck. A 2010 4Runner should not have needed this part replaced. I would politely ask the shop that installed it how they think this happened.

My front end never had an alignment. It has always pulled very slightly to the right since I bought it new, and my local Toyota dealer checked it, (at 5000 miles) and said it was within' spec. It now has 78000 miles, and the mechanic at the front end shop claims he sees this "galling" of the camber/caster bolts on 4R's anf FJ Cruisers quite frequently. The new bolt & parts will be here on Monday, and I'll be taking it back to get them installed & aligned later next week.

On a different note, I'm very glad that I chose the 1.75" height on the adjustable Billie 5100's. Believe it or not, the rear end sits about 1/4" higher than the front. I've gotten many compliments on the look with the new LT265/70R17 KO2's mounted on my freshly powdercoated 17x8 wheels with the "leveled" stance.

That's exactly my point. This shop sees this problem often. Your truck never had an alignment for 78K miles and all of a sudden the cam bolts are "galled". Are they installing the parts and aligning it for free?
