Lower dash insert mod/replacement

Anyone ever replace/modify the lower dash insert for switches? The area below in red is what I am talking about, would like to replace or modify to somewhat resemble the 2nd pic. Any thoughts? Thanks!

To be fair the search system for the forum is very flawed as is trying to trace stuff down through google.

I spent an hour trying to locate a thread I knew I had posted in (but forgot the title, exact words, and such); I ended up having to just go through what I posted over the last 3 months in my Statistics tab to figure out what thread it was.

Still needs paint and wiring completed. I used a website that makes panels for boats. Cut from 4mm aluminum. You can do any layout to fit your needs with there simple design software.

not perfect, no. but how many don't even try, or don't even know it exists? copy and paste "5th-gen-t4rs/" then enter your search. I'd say 8/10 I find exactly what I'm looking for

Would love to have the link and the final dimensions or a copy of the template for the plate. I think that I would like this better than just the switch insert that I did in the lower procket.. thanks.. I had something similar another member did on the fj forums on my fj. Though he had the plate anodized too and could do the same darn thing. Too bad I didnt even think of it this time around.
