Change up in operations and other business dealings to improve my customer service from now on with the wheel bearing assemblies. Here is the biggest change so far....
WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS!!! I decided that, because I have a deep faith in the quality of my units, Marion Bumper2Bumper will now offer a warranty like no other seller anywhere on comparable units. (Though they might brave the waters and follow after me as has happened before when I do something different).
Now this warranty isn't just for local sellers, or for sellers in just a few locations. My research has shown that NOBODY on ANY website or resale location is offering this warranty! Not even the sellers on eBay! Most sellers out there offer a 12month/12k mile warranty, because that is what Timken/Koyo offers. So really you are just getting the manufacturer warranty passed on to you. The only reason my 12/12 warranty was any different at the time was since I buy my bearings directly from the manufacturing plant, and didn't receive a warranty on them, so mine was a personal 12/12 warranty by me. Now comes the GREAT part!!!
So here it is... I am so confident that my units are the BEST YOU CAN BUY anywhere at any price, I am offering a 24 months, 24,000 miles warranty. That means for 24 months from the date of installation, or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, you are covered for the replacement of a failed bearing due to manufacturer failure. (Does not cover damage from water intrusion or improper installation). NO ONE ELSE OFFERS THIS WARRANTY!
I was sitting down with my sister the other day talking about everything I do for all of you, my customers, and we both thought it would be nice to just spell out why I am the one to go to for all of your bearing needs. So I figured I would compare myself to a major bearings’ competitor and show why I am the better, no best choice of ALL of the builders out there.
Competitor claims: We invented selling the Complete Bolt-on front wheel bearing assemblies for late model Toyota SUVs and Pickups to the public.
Fact: Marion Bumper2Bumper has been building and selling these units since I started my shop in September of 2011, then started selling online July 2013.
Competitor claims: We make EACH front wheel bearing assembly by hand using American made Precision Electric Hydraulic Presses that cost THOUSANDS of dollars EACH, unlike others who use Harbor Freight presses made in China that cost $100.
Fact: A press is a press. It simply makes the building of these units easier. My so called "cheap" Harbor Freight press is STILL going strong after almost 6 years! The only modification I made was to swap out the hydraulic piston for a pneumatic one to make my job a little easier. Total cost in my press is $250. It gets the job done and allows me to sell my units at a FAIR price, since I don't have to pass on the cost of my press to the customer. Why pay more?
Competitor claims: The ONLY company whose sole purpose is manufacturing late model Toyota 4x4 and 4x2 front wheel bearing assemblies.
Fact: Marion Bumper2Bumper's purpose is to manufacture 2003 and up Toyota truck 4X4 and 4X2 complete bearing assemblies. It's what I do.
Competitor claims: All assemblies have a 1 year UNLIMITED mileage warranty on the bearing.
Fact: I now offer the BEST warranty ANYWHERE by ANYONE (as of this posting). All assemblies have a 2 year, 24k mile warranty!
Competitor claims: Have sold THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of Toyota 4x4 and 4x2 KOYO OEM Bearing front wheel bearing assemblies to 5 Continents with ZERO warranty claims.
Well, I can't make that claim. I do have a 0.1% failure rate (that is 1 out of a thousand). I would honestly be shocked if they have used Koyo bearings which are the same bearings used in the Toyota truck line from the factory, yet had ZERO warranty claims? You guys tell me.
Lastly, I offer a great customer service platform on my bearings. While I may fall behind and miss calls occasionally (I am a one person operation), I always work hard to communicate with my customers and return missed calls as quickly as possible. I also offer to all of my customers the same thing I have always offered: A personal touch. I field ANY questions, whether they buy/bought from me or not. I don't hold it against them because they went to someone else. Need help with the installation? Technical specs? I have always been here to help. I am much more than just a builder or a shipper. I feel like I have the BEST product and the BEST service out there!
