LR uca's squeak

ARK_SWAMP_RIDER, are you still squeak free? I ordered mine close to the same time as you and also didn't get a grease packet. I'm going to be installing mine soon, so I'm wondering if I should try and grease it or just install them without it. Thanks.

Martini, grease them. I've got the new style bushings and installed mine a few weeks ago. Drivers side first no grease. Then when I went to put the passenger side on, I found the grease packet, so I greased them before I installed them.

Drivers side squeaks like crazy. I'm about to walk outside and pull and grease them right now. It's been driving me nuts, but I'm just getting around to taking care of it.

I'm not sure if I have the packet anymore. If I come across it I'll let u know. It sort of looked like the dark green grease that comes packed in the cv joints (one tan one dark green).

I've got some blue stuff that I bought in a tub from the parts store and some white stuff that I had left over from energy suspension that comes with their urethane bushings. I'd be fine using either one.

Yes, still squeak free. If LR is sending grease packets, I'd definitely grease them.

I just came across this thread after searching "Light Racing UCA squeak." Needless to say, I have some serious squeaky noise on the driver side UCA. I have the new style bushings and I greased them up well per instructions before I installed them. I am kind of dreading pulling the UCA in order to re-grease. Maybe I can just tap the bolt out a bit and regrease the outer edges of the bushing to see if that's where the squeak is...

The passenger side seems quiet but hearing all the squeaks with my window down is driving me nuts!

I contacted Mark from Metal Tech about mine as well. He said he's never heard of them squeaking before my report. Did you buy yours from MT? If so, it might be worth contacting him.

I never understand when vendors respond to this type of occurance - that they never heard of that problem before. My LR were squeeking bad, we replaced the bushings, greased them up...and I'm still getting sqeeks. Its super annoying
