LSD on 2WDs. When to use it?

but I had evaluated this with my 2wd and I think I remember that the LSD button on enabled the throttle butterfly traction control function, not disable. I find the throttle override and momentary loss of power annoying.

Could this be the case?

Push the button, turn on dash light, and disable the throttle cut.
I hate making a left turn on a wet day with on-coming traffic and the damn thing cuts power.
