Has anyone had this issue been reported in any 2011's yet? I got my 2011 a few months ago and it doesn't have it (although only 2000 miles so far), but I was test driving used 2010's and immediately noticed in two different 4runners the lumbar had a crunching noise as I shifted around in the seat.

Took mine to my dealer, they ordered a new seatback. I asked if it was the 'new design' but the advisor didn't know. Hopefully they are only sending the new style parts. My dealership (Toyota of Richardson) seems pretty easy to work with, so if you are in the DFW area, and are having issues, try them.
well as I guessed... my useless dealership told me they couldn't duplicate the problem and therefore didn't put it into the system...so I'm going to just call Toyota when I do my questionnaire and report it...I swear as soon as I'm done with my free service I'm going to do my own service...such a waste of my time...as the saying goes "If you want something done right, do it yourself!" ...any whoooooooo
on to rant about my other issue in another post...
Unfortunately I'm sure it will, mine has. Lasted about 3K before it started up again with the new seatback.Had the servere crunching problem. My dealer just replaced the seat back mechanism. It did take multiple visits and persistance. I will post if the problem resurfaces.
