M1 extended life syn?? Ne one used b4?

Saw M1 makes an extended life synthetic good for 15k between changes. Has any one used it? I assume you would still change the filter at 7500 correct??

I do short trips everyday and I accumulate approximately 7500 miles in about 6 months. I just change my oil twice a year with Mobil extended performance 5w-30.

Thats correct. It goes up to 15k and sells for $28 for a jug.

Since the oil filters never go that far and you have to change them every 5000-7500 miles or pay $15 for a super long life filter...I just use regular sale prices synthetic and a factory filter and change at 5000 miles. If you ever have an engine warranty claim they WILL ask for proof of following the factory oil service schedule.

The M1 will do the 15k though.

Mobil 1 EP is XOM's best oil so I would use it with confidence.

Run it with a premium extended-capable filter like:
-Mobil 1 EP
-Bosch Distance Plus
-K&N
-Fram Extended Guard
-TRD

You should be good for 15,000 miles or 1 year whichever comes first.

Change your PCV valve & air filter and hopefully you don't fall under severe service conditions.
