yea i like it anyways....i dont like how the trim piece came out ill prob re do it soon....i was thinking of doing lights but its too much going on plus in ca you cant have red or blue accent lighting cause of some cop law.....

I like it. Reminds me on an RBP grill. Did you just add the rivits to the stock grill with the center cut out? I've been also thinking about making a light bar grill. I just haven't worked out how to build the back part that connects to the truck.

I ordered a stock grill off ebay for cheap to play with, so we'll see. I wanted to just use sheet metal for the rim so it can be a little flatter and the corners sharper (like on the RBP's). Again, I just need to find out how to connect it to the back. Because if I use a steel as the frame, and run a a small piece of flatstock parallel along the bottom, I can mount the light to that.

I have some loose drawings right now, Im going to see if I can get it drawn up on CAD so I can have the face cut. I also wonder what to use as the mesh, because it has to be sturdier then the gutter guards.

Hey Buddy...not sure what the "OP" used for his build? But several on here that have built the "Satoshi Grills"...have gotten their mesh form Custom Car Grills. I've bought from him before...quality stuff...quick shipping. Here's a link to their web site...Hope this helps!

love this grill... except I'm not much of a batman type guy... but love those silver studs that go all the away around.... can you explain your process a little more in regards to those studs around the grill??
