Magnaflow 12586 and high flow cat

I just ordered a 22 inch magnaflow 5x11 oval 22 inch muffler and a high flow cat. I was thinking I needed to replace my cat anyways do to it throwing a code so that's why I went with the high flow but now im worried that it will be too loud..I don't want any drone or very minimal if any (my tires are already loud) so does anyone have a similar setup? I want it to sound good when I step on the gas but I want it to be quiet when cruising. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

With a 22" muffler you'll be fine.

I have a MagnaBlow cat. It did change the sound of my system when I had the MagnaBlow oval muffler.

The heat shields are tack welded on and will fall off over time. Mine fell off about a year after install.

I had the 12286 oval muffler, 24", broke 3 of them in one year.

It's not a magnaflow cat and I have read about your experience already that's part of the reason I went with a different model number than you did..magnaflow is pretty much the only aftermarket muffler I like on these vehicles so I figured I would take the risk but thanks man hope I have better luck
