There was a post on here about 4 years ago where a person was following a 4Runner and the dash camera showed the 4Runner making a hard left turn over the center median to enter a neighborhood. Maybe that person holds the answers?

I came upon a video of a guy doing 0-60 tests in a Tundra. For the tests, he would launch in 4hi and turn the knob to 2hi at ~20mph going full throttle. Maybe you can try that. :laser:

Not right now cody, we will address that shortly, but right now we have real world problems with a hypothetical curb jumping 4H locked in solution we are hypothetically trying to resolve from a purely professional viewpoint.

Back to the subject matter at hand.

You may need to come to a complete stop , air down all 5 tires (yes, even the spare) to 4 psi, look thru access hole to make sure you are lined up slightly off to head on to the curb, put it in 4H, once 4H is locked in, place in S1 and dump the clutch!
That should work.

If you are not running nitrogen you may need to go up 2 pounds. If running nitrogen, you may be fine there.

Where I live the town is 12 miles across. The highway (4 lane) runs through the middle.
All the businesses (20 or so) are spread along a six mile stretch that has a center turn lane.
Some traffic engineer decided to replace the center turn lane with a raised median with 5 places in 6 miles to make a left or U turn (speed limit us 65 mph).
This is rural AZ so the curbs and gravel filler has tire marks all over them.
This median has now blocked a mobile home sales lot so they cannot get homes out of their lot, shuttering that business.
There are now, almost daily, head on accidents from elderly drivers turning left as they have for 20 years, finding themselves on the wrong side of this new median.

Unfortunately you can't get an accurate reading for winter air, until the winter solstice on December 21st, in the northern hemisphere.

You could make an educated guess, but that's just crazy.

and say are just driving in high 2 ... then for obvious reasons you wanna put it in 4h but since you cant make a full turn in 4h are therefor stuck having to just do it in 2h ?

I can do that in 2wd.

You can do U Turns in 4wd. The turning radius will be a little wider than normal.
Our 4wd system is shift on the the fly so you could also do the U turn in 2wd then shift to 4wd as soon as you made the turn.
