Map your location?

Here is a better option - nobody has to set anything up, and nobody has to enter their location. It automatically reads the location of everyone who views the map just by their IP address.

Cool little Feature
Hey Brian,
Cool web site, I must say it is a neat concept, but I am somewhat cautious (or better said paranoid) about the web site being able to detect my location and stuff.
Thanks to wb2fcr's find of the FRAPPR web site, we have all built up a nice community map of active members. If we all start a new map option, then all of our fellow members will end up "all over the map"
FRAPPR has many little options and tools, half of them I have not used cause I can only keep my attention span to one web site at a time.
I get notified automatically of new members to the FRAPPR web site and I must say it is really nice to drop in and see the community growing.

I don't think there's anything scary about it - all browsers transmit their IP address, that's how web sites are able to deliver you content. And many web sites use geotargeting databases to see where you're from - including Amazon, eBay, and CNN.

I had to change my zip code to Enterprise Alabama, which is 7 miles west of Fort Rucker. When I inputed Fort Rucker's zip code, the map placed me in northern Alabama.
Like I said in the post, I'm stationed in Alabama, but from Boise Idaho. And graduated from Boise State, home of the true blue smurf turf.

User Options in FRAPPR
Hey everyone,
The Map is looking great, preety soon we are not going to be able to see the map due to the many markers.
I get my auto reminder e-mails and it is nice to see the list the list continues to grow. Thanks again to wb2fcr (Dave) for creating this FRAPPR group :bowdown:
About markers, I see some of you have specified wich type of runner you own (Blue=SR5, Red=Sport, Gold=Limited), but there are many that have not (pinkish color pins). If you are one of those, please make it a little fun for all of us and choose your pin under your profile.

Ok, i just spent a few minutes reading about stolen spare tires, missing foglights, and all kinds of other things missing from fellow T4R owners. Personally, I want you all to know that i own and am proud to drive my T4R, but that's about as much as i want anyone to know. I myself want to keep my 'Runner in one piece.:arrow:
(I am definetely not implying that anyone registered in this forum would steal from fellow members, but who knows who is reading this stuff?)
