The Skyway?! I know that bridge! I have family in St. Petersburg and every time we visit them we love to drive over that bridge. I love that place, we usually go sailing and dolphin watching in the summer. I love how mostly every house has it's own boat dock too. So many water ways. Man I miss Florida.

Black Taillights...

I'm not sure if I like them or not, what do you guys think?

I like them alot!!! How did you do it?

Yea the leather is great, really makes the car seem more luxurious. It took me about 5 days of working 2 hours a day to install the leather so about 10 hours but I have the 3 row 4runner.
The taillights were done with VHT Nightshades, some spray I got off eBay. Its like a transparent black spray paint.
You need to sand and clean your taillights, spray this stuff on (which is a B*tch to get even and looking good with no drips) sand, do a few coats, sand then apply a clear coat. It probably took me 8 hours over 3 days to do the taillights, but I was taking my time and making sure everything was perfect. They could probably easily be done in 2 hours if you rush it, but you would still need to let the paint dry overnight.

I believe he has a 2wd... seeing his 4runner go through all those trail gives me a bit of confidence to take my 2wd 4R for some mild off roading

Well that's why there are other 4x4s with winches to help us 2wds out of danger. lol.

I'd think that the 2wds can still do ample light-medium offroading. Just leave the big bad trails and mud to the 4wds. :runaway:

Yea it is 2wd, I got stuck once, but I think I was able to go thru some pretty thick mud, the biggest two things slowing me down were the trac/maybe vsc or something would cut power to the wheels, and my ground clearance. I bottomed out many times, and skid late looks like sh*t now. I was impressed with the 2wd's ability, and am planning to go back soon, but not without anyone to be able to pull me out if needed.

Well first it takes balls to go offroading in that mud at Withlacoochee with 2WD, so the recognition is deserved IMO. And second it's my hope that you will inspire others to post pics with their girlfriends laying on their T4Rs in sexy poses (tastefully done of course )

Maybe we could get a '4Runner & significant other' thread going. We had a Babe thread once and had to close it down because it got a little out of hand, but if tastefully done, it should be a neat thing.
