Maroon 2003 4Runner?

I thought the redish color wasn't available until this year? There's an ebay listing for a 2003 maroon 4Runner with the cladding on it. I just thought it was interesting.

Looks to be in good shape. But it's red, not maroon. Maroon is a much darker color that was not available on 2003 models.

Is that the same color red that is offered on the 2005? I knew that there was a green offered only in early 2003 but I didn't know about the red. I have even seen a few green ones on the road and they look nice! I don't know if it is a coincedence, but I only have seen the green on SR5's or Sports (with cladding). Was the red and green even offered on the Limited in 2003?

That's Impulse Red Pearl. It was discontinued in April 2003.

Funny, I've seen more reds than greens on 2003 models. Both great colors..

I don't know why they discontinued that color. I think it's hot !! Had it been out when I bought mine, I would have thought twice about it... (nah... I still would have bought mine... hahahaha).
