Mass Air Flow Sensor

1990 4runner 3.0
I took the mass air flow sensor with the intention of cleaning it. I found out that it does not have the two wires to clean as I hoped. After putting it together and back on the truck doesnt want to run. error 31
I cleaned the connectors took it apart again and same problem. The truck was starting to run a little rough after it warmed up and thats why I was cleaning it. These things are $$$$ to replace. Any other sugeestions would be greatly appreciated.

There's a couple getting parted out on this website, buy a used one to see if that solves the issue your having.

Fixed. Wires were bad.
