I just ordered some Nitto Trail Grappler 285 75 16's today. Going on the truck hopefully Friday or Monday.

I got some new shoes on her today!!!! 285 75 16 Nitto Trail Grapplers!!! I am pretty pumped. Now I can go snow wheeling and also am ready to spectate in style at King of the Hammers. My other Nitto's lasted 6 years but were looking pretty tired. I got a 5th matching tire for the spare to go with my new Savage hybrid rear bumper that is on order. Mileage sits at 145511 now. She doesn't look too bad for a 16 year old rig.

My son and I had another great year at The King of the Hammers. If you have not been put it on your bucket list and get out here next February. The new Nitto Trail Grapplers on my rig were amazing.

The new rack is great and very smooth. The reason I replaced it is that in looking at replacing another inner and outer tie rod it wasn't that much more time and money to just get a new rack. A lot less play in the steering now which makes for a nicer trip on the freeway getting to the trails.

141,829 miles...Out with the old and in with the new... 4.88 G2 performance gears and rear axle seals and bearings. I have my power back :zoom:

May I ask roughly cost of total for 4.88 upgrade? and Where did you get it done?

I had it done at Redlands Motorsports. $2,100. Re gear of front and rear with all new axle seals and rear bearings as well. Yeah it wasn't cheap but I have all my power back. It made a HUGE difference for sure.

I got my new Savage OffRoad Hybrid rear bumper today. It is still wrapped in plastic because it was raining. Ha ha. Roy at Savage does AMAZING work!!!

that's not a gap...

the space between is because the body flex's different to the frame, and the space is so nothing contacts when out on the trail. remember the rear bumper is 'now' on the frame.

Took her out to Berdoo Canyon and Joshua Tree. Good times with the family. My wife took all the pics so unfortunately she is not in them. We had a great day.

I temporarily painted the bumper until I can get it powder coated. Not the best paint job but it will work for now to keep the rust off.

Thursday April 14 had the spark plugs and Valve cover gaskets changed at 146117 miles.

Took her out to the March Airfield Airshow today to watch the Thunderbirds. Brought along my Dad, my son Robby, and his friend Collin from school. We had a blast! God Bless America!!!
