We rented a house in Avon for a week, it was really nice. We caught a skate and a sea trout. Other's were catching a lot of Whiting on the sound side of the point. The tackle shops boasted Red Drum being caught, but we didn't see any reeled in!

Just have to accept they're there and understand you're in their world. They out number us out in the water and there's not much you can do about it accept now splashing all over the place and attract attention.

I would like to bring my kayak down there and do some fishing off of that in the ocean and in Oregon Inlet.

Hooked the bike rack up and took the fixie out for a ride. Specialized Langster I ordered through the shop I work at. Hoping to use it a lot this summer just to mess around on. I also gave it a much needed vacuuming and loaded it back up. So much sand and dog hair accumulated over this past winter. I also just ordered a new Canon T5i since I've used my dummy camera a lot more than I thought I would. I ordered a cheap powershot over last summer to gauge my photography interests and I feel as I'm ready for something a little more serious. The package should be here by Wednesday so hopefully I can get some good shots of the 4Runner and what adventures it takes.

All Pro UCAs shipped, new camera here, and picking up some used CVs to rebuild next week. I'd like to get the UCAs and CVs in at the same time so I only have to drop it off for an alignment once. I also want to get Total Chaos' weld-on spindle gussets put in but I don't know how to weld or no how to make it all work. I'm also working more again so I'll have some money laying around to fund some other projects like getting my PIAA 510's installed and some sort of rear storage, among other things. Stay tuned.

Just FYI you don't need an alignment after doing CV axles. You aren't changing anything that will affect the alignment if you want to do them separate.

Ah I see, I'd still like to get it all done in one go around though. That and weld on spindle gussets but not sure how to get that done without having to go somewhere. UCAs should be here early this week :hungry:

Nothing big going on, just waiting on some parts to come in... In the meantime, enjoying the break from classes and playing with the pup. Took the pup to the usual spot and toyed around with the camera for a little.

That it is, such a fun cruiser. At the shop I got it at, the only grip tape they had to fit it was extra-course in a huge roll so carrying it in between classes isn't any fun but besides that, I love riding the thing. I actually have some Powell Peralta Re-Issue wheels on there too. My uncle (49 years old) was stoked when he first saw it.
I'll hopefully get some more surfing pictures in here as it gets warmer and when we get into hurricane season.

Thanks and you're actually a lot closer to any trails than me. Check out Big Levels and Flagpole Knob. I'm trying to plan a trip to do both of those plus Skyline Drive in the next month or two.

These also showed up today. Stoked to get them and can't wait till they're on. I was curious on what a shop would charge to put them on and it looks like it'll be around $700 for those plus weld on spindle gussets. Since that's my only way to get the gussets on, I may install the UCAs myself and hope to get the gussets welded on for about $350-$400. Only time will tell.

Washed and Clay Barred the 4Runner today. Much needed as it was my first good wash since winter. Also got a new platform style bike rack that will end up just staying on. It's a Swagman G10; heavy but it'll get the job done and I got it at a great price.

I also received these courtesy of [MENTION=116467]Rock_Rat[/MENTION]. He also supplied boot grease and some new clamps. Mike got shipped them quickly and the communication was great. I can't wait to get them on. I'm picking up a used set of OEM CVs locally and will put these boots on them. The outer boots (black) are All Pro's extended CV boot and the inners(red) are from Off Road Solutions. I will upload pictures and info of the rebooting process.

Been pretty lazy with the 4Runner recently. Working a lot and not working on the 4Runner with my days off. I've been taking road trips down to my buddy's river house in North Carolina and everything seems to be running well, due for an oil change in about 500 miles. I'm also currently rebuilding a beach cruiser for my girlfriend so that's been taking priority. The bike was beat up and hidden in the warehouse at the shop so I figured I'd take a stab at it.
I started re-booting some extra CV axles I had laying around when I ran into some problems. I'll do some research on it and possibly start a thread about it if I can't find my answer.

Fixing to head down south for the river but went surfing this morning. Loaded the 4Runner up with my board/supplies and was able to have some fun in 2 foot mush. Leaving the 4Runner home as I need an oil change. Hoping my dad does one for me since I'm gone all weekened:biggrin1:
