Flip back a week or two and I discovered what I thought was an oil leak in my driveway. After watching my oil ever since, didn't notice myself losing any. Turns out it was power steering fluid.
This Saturday, I headed over to [MENTION=111469]sterbenlicht[/MENTION] (Brian's) house to work on the 4Runner all day. He had previously helped me with my 4Runner and he had a spacer lift he was looking to get rid of. When we put my truck in the air, we noticed I was leaking power steering fluid but we decided that would be a task for a different day.
With the help of Brian, I learned how to mount and balance tires. We also took the coil lift off of his 4Runner and put it on mine. It is just a temporary lift for me as I plan on replacing my full suspension this summer, but this allows me to do the front and back at separate times.
After the lift was swapped out, I headed to the dealership to get an alignment when they told me that some bolts on my tire rods were seized up and my steering rack was leaking (which we discovered earlier today). Brian spent the rest of his night doing the steering rack, as he had an extra laying around the garage. We knew the driver side was leaking but when we took the boot off of the passenger side inner tire rod, we discovered both sides were leaking :redbrick: He was a huge help in everything and has already taught me a huge amount about these things and how they work.
Driver side boot, you can't really tell it was leaking.

And the puddle that quickly grew.

I haven't taken any pictures of the lift and new tires because we finished so late and the weathers been crappy since but should have some up here soon.
