My Bay Area Metal Fabrication (BAMF) sliders arrived yesterday and I started paint this morning. Should be getting welded on tomorrow. Super happy with my experience with them; they were correct on lead time and answered any questions I had during production.

Air Fuel Ratio

Was running a P1135 which is a A/F Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction. Essentially my loop would always stay open no matter how warm the engine got and how much throttle I used. [MENTION=80933]4x4runner2002[/MENTION] still had his working original since he swapped it before heading to this coast. Cleared the code, loop is functioning like it should, and the ratio looks good and is pinging around often. No more check engine light

Sliders

Got my BAMF sliders welded on yesterday courtesy of [MENTION=150813]OneOffStroker[/MENTION]. Stoked to get these things on. Have a trip planned first weekend of June and plan on using the crap out of them. They need a new coat of paint but that'll get done after the trip to cover any damage.

God I hate you. That looks amazing. Was debating getting one of these but damn yours is a sweet ride. LOVE that front end my god.

Thanks man, what'd you decide on instead? Love the front end, trying to get some new rear armor to clean it up a bit and get some more functionality.
 
Sliders look great. Nice pics showing how they fit in relation to the body and fenders flares.

How have you been liking your general grabbers? I've been considering those because the reviews seem pretty good & they have a similar look to the BFG KOs that I currently have.

I like them a lot. Very similar to the profile of the KOs that you have, especially when compared to the KO2s. If you like yours, I'd sat these are a pretty safe bet.
They've handled well off road and very well on road. Depending on where in life I am when due for new tires, I'll either end up with these or something more aggressive. Something more aggressive if I have another DD, these if this is still my DD. I have quite a few friends running Cooper STT Pros as well and I've considered making the swap to those as they're a quite yet aggressive all-terrain tire.

Thanks man, really like Addicted's too. BAMF's were on sale at the right time and I've always liked their kick out so I figured why not. And I'll (hopefully) get to use them next weekend so I'm Stoked on that.

I understand that. It haven't stopped raining long enough for me to paint over the exposed frame and bare slider legs. Makes me cringe a little. Luckily I should have time today and I'll be able to get them done before my trip this weekend.
 
Got to go wheeling this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Uwharrie with [MENTION=80933]4x4runner2002[/MENTION] and [MENTION=116387]Unner[/MENTION]. Good times were had and we got plenty of wheeling in. Unfortunately, not many pictures to prove it but we still got some. Logged over 600 miles on the whole trip and everything ran well. Got to use the hell out of my new sliders and that was fun too. Only damage to be had was I pulled 3 of my skid plate bolts out so we made out pretty well. Saturday night we got some really good wheeling in and I wish we had gotten some more pictures but we worried more about proper spotting. I'm eager to get back as it was fun and they had some tricky stuff.
