The 4r L@@K nice! but I'm not felling the red caliber on a lifted 4R with big tires off roading look. should have paint it black to go with everything else.;):
 
yeah, I was a little iffy about the caliper paint at first but once I got it on their I loved it. oh well, to each his own....

wow....your truck looks great!.....I think the red calipers are definitely the way to go......really draws your eyes to look closer at the rims and tires....(not that they need any extra help to be noticed!)..

thanks, now i wish i had held my ground and bought a black runner. i was just getting over that too!

how much did you have to dig out with the dremmel?
 
I did alot with the grinder and just trimmed up with the dremmel. It is a considerable amount if yo like preserving the warranty but I figured Id keep this as a toy when I want something new anyways. So I went ahead with the massacre. It really isnt that bad, as amatter of fact I think I will start a new thread asking people what they are willing to trim off of their rides and ask peoples opinions about what I did to mine. Ill add pics there....

that lift looks soo yummy.. ive dreamt of my 4runner being boosted up just slightly like that. for some reason i have this feeling that bringing up the rear higher then the front would make a 4runner look real mean. =X

how much did the lift cost you? and what parts did u add in / swap out??

I didnt have to swap out any parts, but I did have to add spacers because my tires are so wide....

if you want the cornfed talk to jason b on this site and he should be able to hook you up with one for a good price.

i couldnt take it anymore so i decided to not be such a nub and looked it all up.

for 250 it seems like a really sweet deal. im going to have to put some money aside to get it done ASAP.

I was wondering why you had painted the spacers black? was it simply to just match your cars color or so that they wouldnt stand out?

I don't know how it is down where you live - but I wish I could get away with wearing 20's without the lock-nuts.
Toronto is coming pretty close to the car-jacking capital of the world.

I would slap in some lock-nuts if I where you. I would slap in 2 or 3 different sets.

I absolutely LOVE THE PUSH BAR!!! i'm dying to get oen for my Runner. HOw long did it take for you to find the perfect rims that will fit the signature gigantic Toyota 4x4 hub??? I"ve gone all around town, Vancouver BC, and i'm pretty much looking at a custom jobber. Any tips?
 
It took about 4 months of asking questions and chatting with everyone on this site to finally find something I liked enough to go through with....then came the hard part. finding the rubber to wrap them in....I got the first set of those xtreme A/Ts that were sent in that size to the southeast. I was lucky!!!!
