Well, maybe not Tyrone's thoughts, but mine anyway!
A quick thanks to all who voted for me and the kind words and congrats. I am totally flattered by the fact that Tyrone was nominated much less that he pulled off a win. Especially considering the other nominees he was up against, all three of my competitors were fine 4runners (and Trekkers!).
When I started building Tyrone, so many people thought I should go with some off the wall paint color. Many people thought he needed 18 or 20 inch rims with 35 inch tires. (Heck, my tire man couldn't remember the last time he sold a set of 15 inch tires and wheels!) I really wanted to build him how I would have back in the day with no compromises. I'm just surprised so many people agree with the result!
A special thanks to TRDCal for all of the time he has spent reviving and refining the T4ROTM contest. We appreciate your efforts!
