I had to look up what the ADBV was.
Anti-Drain Back Valve in a canister type oil filter.

Which got me thinking, how many of you fill the housing/cartridge with oil before screwing it on?

I fill my spin-on every time, several times before installing, the media really sucks up a lot of oil.
