Just gonna throw in my two cents-
I'm the one in the family who ends up fixing everybody's computer when there is issues. I've got copies of most of the AV software you've all mentioned here because I've ran into times when it took 4 different programs to get all the infections, along with digging through registries etc. Anyways, my point is that on multiple occasions I've had to use more than one AV program. Don't ask me what they did to open the door for all those problems, but there are certain members of the family who just don't listen and tend to be repeat offenders. If I wasn't such a nice guy I'd charge em for the hours spent cleaning up their mess.
PS. McAfee sucks. Has for a long long time. Just sayin.
