Today I got a few little things done. I bought and installed a Tridon ep-35 flasher to fix my hyper-blinking from the LEDs on my Outdoor Logic bumper. It was a bit of a pain to get to the old flasher and install the new one.


Then I finally got around to doing the Full Time 12V Power Outlet Mod so now I always have power to my cigarette lighters! It was extremely simple and I highly recommend doing it.

Nice build man! The ODL bumper looks sick. Are the new tires 285 or 255? Or is that part of the surprise?

Well, I got the new meats on and they look GREAT!!! They are the Toyo Open Country AT2 Extreme in the size 295/75/16, I can't wait to try them out. I do however have a small problem, which I anticipated. On flat ground I have about a .25" of clearance on the UCA. It rubs about halfway through my full turning radius. I'm assuming I shouldn't drive until I get some wheel spacers. What size do you guys suggest I get? And what brand? Anyway, on to the pics! The sun was at an extremely awkward angle so I will definitely get some better pictures when I can.

And for some reason, they balanced the wheels like this? They've never done this before, so I'll be having a word with them when I take it by for my alignment.

A little update, I sold my Yakima Loadwarrior yesterday. I'll most likely use that money to buy some new LBJs. And the rest of my money to buy some wheel spacers. I'm also in need of some new rear shocks so we will see how much money I have left when all this is taken care of!

Thanks! I think I'm about to pull the trigger on some 1" Trail Gear ones. That should give about 1.25" of clearance from the UCA which I'm hoping will be plenty.

I would definitely recommend to spend a bit extra and make sure to get a set that are Hub-Centric as well as Lug-Centric. It will save you lots of headache if you pull your tires off as much as i do to work on things.

I went ahead and ordered the Spidertrax ones. So many people on here run them without one negative thing to say so I figured why not spend $10 more over the Fail Gear ones.

I run Spidertrax and have zero complaints, i always use blue loctite on the mounting studs for a little extra peace of mind.

Thanks! I can't wait to get them out on the road. I haven't been able to really drive on them yet because I'm still waiting on the Spidertrax to come in!





Also, I just order new LBJs from Camelback Toyota for $167.10. It's not really how I wanted to spend the money I just got from selling my rack, but I'll have a lot more peace of mind now and it needed to be done. Hopefully the install will be a breeze.

My Spidertrax spacers arrived last night, and I installed them today. Install was pretty simple and I clear the UCA by plenty now, but they did cause some rubbing on the back of the fender near the pinch weld. Ill have to do a little cutting and pounding to get them to clear and I won't be able to go that until Sunday because I have prom tonight and tomorrow night. I'd rather be working on my riggggg. :ybrick::ybrick::ybrick::dammit:



Also my new OEM LBJs came in from Camelback Toyota. I'll try and get those on soon as well.

Got the new LBJs in yesterday at 117k. Pretty easy project and definitely worth it if you can do it yourself and save the extra $$$

Little update:

I didn't realize they have made .75" hub spacers until I saw someone selling some in the classifieds. So of course I jumped on those and they are exact perfect clearance on the UCA. They also cut down on the rubbing on the rear of my fenders in the pinch weld area, but I'm still getting some rub when I flex it hard which sucks because I wanna wheel.
Anyways on the the pics just a few comparisons on the size. Also, anyone got any ideas on the rubbing?

Thanks man! I haven't been able to wheel lately cause I've been figuring out some rubbing issues when stuffing but once I get that all squared away that'd be great. Are there any good places up near you because I mainly wheel on just local trails, no real parks or anything.
