From a Combat Vet to all that have lost a loved one who served:

Thank you for your sacrifice and that of your loved one(s). With all the recent media coverage about standing on, burning, or otherwise disrespecting the flag that your loved one died protecting, it can seem like nobody cares. Well I am here to let you know that there are more of us that care than those that don't.

The rest of you who have not lost a loved one, please take a moment to dedicate a drink, a BBQ, or a moment of silence to those that have fallen. This weekend is an excellent opportunity to teach a child why this country is so special.

Out of respect for the Fallen I ask the political commentaries be kept to a minimum.

Thank you is just never enough for that generation. It baffels me when they tell me thank you too. They were greatful they always knew who they were fighting.

A couple of men I knew that honorably served their Country in wartime that I will never forget, are these two.

Frank was someone I was proud to know. He was a great man, that downplayed the significant role he played during WW2, and in later years training armed forces Pilots.


Our Fallen Heroes: Nate Hardy | SOFREP

Nate, was truly the best of the best. He traveled around the world, always in harms way, while going above and beyond any rational expectations. The short description in the link doesn't truly capture the tremendous effort and sacrifice Nate made, to save his Team.

He was the son-in-law of my best friend, and was someone I was proud to know. He was also one of the most respectful and humble people I think I've ever known.

Rest In Peace, Frank and Nate.
