Got a knock on my front door on Xmas eve around 10pm from my neighbors son who has just had his licence for 2 weeks - he backed out of his garage in his dads old Xterra right into the moist vulnerable part of any vehicle - front wheel at 90 degrees. Pretty good hit -cant open drivers door, grille all popped out, cant open hood and front wheels pointing in different directions! Truck got shoved a good 12" sideways - I wonder how much this will cost to buff out!

That sux!!! Go out and elbow the hood so at least you can get a trd pro front bumper and a trail hood out of the deal!

if you want anything but stock, just ask for cash out quote and just get the parts yourself and pay someone to do it.

so spoke to the insurer today and this "cosmetic" damage will cost $4200 to fix up + around $500 for a rental car, + $125 for the tow to the shop - expensive lesson for the kid next door! Toyota say no mechanical damage thankfully,
