Metal Tech TE with Total Chaos long travel and other goodies

The suspension is now complete on our 4Runner. A lot of work involved getting the secondary shock hoops to work but I managed to get everything to fit without cutting any sheet metal. Will be taking the 4Runner off the lift today and start test driving the new suspension.

Metal Tech, Please stop the torture! :whipping2 This is the suspension set up we all dream about. Get that thing off the lift and let us see some pictures. Pahlease.

So did you have to limit the up travel in the front?

Haven't flexed it out yet, plus we are still trying to figure out which beadlock manufacturer to go with. So right now it is on the stock wheels and tires for the time being.

Have some rear pinion issues at the moment, it looks like a bad set up. I have to put it back on the lift and see if I can salvage it by tightening the pinion nut if not I have to tear apart the rear axle again.

Just mounted the beadlocks up and put on the 4Runner. Waiting on a spanner wrench from Radflo. Once the coilovers are adjusted it's going in for an alignment and then it will start driving on the road.

From that angle with those tires it looks like you'd only have a few inches of up travel before hitting the fenders. Sure looks awesome though.

For the upper or bottom mesh? I hope not the bottom because that's where I plan to mount my Budbuilt hidden winch plate.

Those grilles look good except for the gaudy silver studs. All black would look awesome.

LT, I may have missed it but did you do anything to beef up the drivetrain for the extra stress of the 315's? Specifically the axles..

It looks great and I can't wait to see it in person. That's the first built 5th gen I could see as a replacement to my 80 series.
