MetalTech 4Runner Grille with 20" Rigid SR and 2 Dually D2s

Anyone see this yet? They posted it on facebook. Looks sick if you ask me, though probably expensive but who cares..Black Diamond Fabrication did the grille..I think I want :frog: (added bonus....still put the FJ40 Emblem in the Grille though the solid metal above the 20" SR may make it look funny)

+1. It's the same thing I say about most offroad wheels. Black rims with the silver bolts/rivets are horrendous.

Plasti-dip would be required for sure.

I hate silver and chrome...I remove as much as possible. But, I would have definitely purchased my TE in orange if it was available in that color (probably doesn't help that I'm a die hard Cincinnati Bengals fan).

Orange isn't gaudy to me. The silver studs bother me. It screams Autozone Accessory Aisle.

That was just my n00b way of linking the original thread and showing this one is a repost, while making an effort to keep it light-hearted and not to be some kinda know-it-all on the internet.

The standard silver finish on the bolts isn't as bad as the pictures depict, the flash on the camera does make them pop out quite a bit. I personally am not a fan of chrome/bling look but the grill does look really good on the 4Runner and the FJ Cruiser. To get bolts that are black would require getting them custom plated in black since in the bolt industry everything comes plated silver.

The grill on our 4Runner is the prototype, we lent Black Diamond Fabrication our bumper to do the development but once they are ready to be sold we will be making announcements.

I think the grille looks great with exception of the silver bolts. I can't imagine a bit of touchup paint on them wouldn't handle it. The design is pretty neat - do you know what they cost?

I didn't like the look of the silver bolts on my Baja Rack so after I installed it I bought a small can of flat black Tremclad and a cheap artist's paintbrush. Problem solved.
